A new piece of history – albeit one which will not be on show to visitors for a few years yet. A time capsule was buried in the grounds of Staffords Country Hospital, with the intention that it should be opened in 2118.
Construction
The box was constructed out of 5mm 316 grade stainless steel Body / 8mm Engraved 316 grade stainless steel lid and a high quality rubber seal to try and withstand 100 years before the box is opened and the time capsule is removed.
